Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent illegal entrance of a third person using a lost card by a method wherein reading of personal information by a card reader is prohibited when an operation for setting final check is made by a keyboard after an instruction for final check setting is given by a main controller to a terminal device at a specified projected time for final check setting. CONSTITUTION:An instruction for preparation of final check setting is sent from a host computer to a terminal device 13 at a specified projected time for final check setting. As a result, the terminal device 13 is put in a waiting position for operation of final check setting. As the operation of final check setting is made with a keyboard 25 by a lastly-leaving person, reading of identification codes by a card reader 24 is prohibited. When a specified projected time for final check releasing comes, an instruction for preparation of final check releasing is sent from the host computer to the terminal device 13. Then, the terminal device 13 is put in the waiting position for operation of final check releasing. As the final check releasing is made with the keyboard 25 by a firstly- incoming person, the reading of identification codes by the card reader 24 is allowed.
