Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the preservable property of a reflecting film layer by providing a molded layer formed with the rugged patterns and pregrooves of signals by hot pressing on the reflecting film layer. CONSTITUTION:This recording medium is constituted of a substrate 1 which can be taken up, the reflecting film layer 2, the molded layer 3, an adhesive agent layer 4, and a transparent base material sheet 5. The reflecting film layer is preserved over a long period of time without generating the deterioration by the oxidation of the reflecting film layer by the presence of the molded layer 3 on the reflecting film layer 2 in such a manner. The rugged patterns and pregrooves of the signals are formed by the hot pressing on the reflecting film layer 2, by which the taking-up of the recording medium is enabled and the throughput is enhanced.
