Abstract:
PURPOSE:To control coming in and going out of a different room by storing in memory at least one or more room incoming-outgoing condition information in a portable electronic device and unlocking a latch by collation with the room incoming-outgoing permission information preregistered in a means controlling a gate. CONSTITUTION:An IC chip 2, built in an IC card 1, is provided with a memory part 3 serving as the memory means, control part 4 and a contact part 5 coming into contact with a card read-write part 12. A room incoming-outgoing control device 11, set up in each room, provides the card read-write part 12 and a gate control part 13, and it preregisters at least one or more room incoming- outgoing permission information. The card 1, when it is inserted into the write part 12, reads room incoming-outgoing condition information, stored in a memory 3, to be collated with the room incoming-outgoing permission information, and an electronic latch 14 is unlocked. Accordingly, coming in and going out of a room with different preregistered room incoming-outgoing permission information can be performed by the single card 1.
