Abstract:
PURPOSE:To omit the initializing process started at a boot loading action in an active state by holding a program and the data for control of a communication preprocessor in a memory and keeping this processor in a single operation state even when said processor is inactive. CONSTITUTION:When an operator control means 12 issues an inactive request to finish the network service, a network service control means 11 informs an inactive state of a subsystem to a host communication control means 21. A network control means 22 applies the inactive process to the network state and a communication preprocessor 2 in response to the request of the means 21 and gives this information to the means 11. Under such conditions, the means 21 gives a start request to a subsystem single operation means 24 and then waits for the subsystem active information to be issued from a host computer 1 in a state where the control program and data for the processor 2 are held in a memory.
