Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide an unloading system of a bulk carrier which is a freighter which transports bulk cargo which is like lump, particle, and powder and of low fluidity, and a freighter of separated cargo chamber type in which the inside of the freighter is divided into many chambers which are separated mutually and completely to avoid sinking of the freighter even when it collides a part of it is destructed, and water enters the inside of it. CONSTITUTION:An unloading system in a bulk carrier which is of separated cargo chamber type is characterized in that it consists of a stroke type reclaimer 11 due to a reciprocal cylinder 12 which is mounted on an inclined bottom section 4 of each separated cargo chamber 2, a water-tight gate 15 which is provided in the lowest region of the bottom section 4 and is controlled automatically, and a series of conveyors ranging from a dividadly delivering conveyor 8 which is installed on the bottom 6 of the carrier below the cargo chambers 2 to a dewatering conveyor 10 which is installed on board.
