Abstract:
PURPOSE:To register a program condition at an arbitrary time by providing a help condition table to be executed and registered by means of each application program itself, and displaying help data corresponding to each condition by means of the help program activated by pushing a help key. CONSTITUTION:Application programs 401 to 406 concerning the document editing of a document editing device are layout editing programs, which edit documents prepared by the editing programs of a text, a figure, a graph, and an image and the respective editing programs so as to be integrated into a single document. Further a help program 408 realizes a help function, and prints the document by a program 407. These programs 401 to 408 are controlled as independent tasks by an operating system program 409. Further a help data retrieve table 501 is used for a program number 502 and a massage number 503, and a help data storing position 504 is retrieved.
