Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve flying performance by reliably preventing flutter of lift surfaces such as wings by vibrating right and left wings at different frequencies for preventing flutter of wings in an aircraft having the right and left lift surfaces such as wings. CONSTITUTION: An engine nacelle 10 of an aircraft is attached to wings 12 by strut assemblies 14, each strut assembly 14 is connected to each wing 12 by a rearward extending upper linking rod 16, and the lower rear end is attached to the wing 12 by a connector 30. In preventing flutter of wings of an aircraft, the nacelle 10 of first and lift surfaces such as wings and first and second elements such as the struts 14 are vibrated in response to force acting on respective elements, and respective lift surfaces are vibrated in response to the vibration. Respective elements are so adjusted as to be vibrated at different frequencies, and respective lift surfaces are so adjusted as to be vibrated at different frequencies in response to respective elements.
