Abstract:
PURPOSE:To quickly analyze the cause of abnormality of mark sheet information by checking up a position and a shape of a control mark and deciding abnormality of a format and sending back an abnormal picture signal which has executed an abnormality display of an abnormal part, etc., in a picture signal, to an input side together with an abnormality message. CONSTITUTION:In the case when abnormality of a start mark, a timing mark, a mark line designating mark, a character line designating mark, an end mark, etc., is detected in a recognition pre-processing circuit 23, an address which has detected the abnormality is informed to a format abnormality symbol generating circuit 26. In such a way, a format abnormality symbol can be written in a position of a picture signal which has detected the abnormality, or a format abnormality informing sentence to which a message of a fact that the format is abnormal is added together with an abnormal picture signal screen as it is can be outputted to a facsimile. As a result, a place where abnormality is generated goes to clear without an operator's help, and also, this system is useful for elucidating a problem in an early state.
