Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent an arch fact from being generated in an image after a third and subsequent echoes by setting a pulse sequence when the pulse sequence is not tilted or made oblique so that the output area of lead gradient can be equal at every echo when the pulse sequence is tilted or made oblique. CONSTITUTION:So that the lead gradient is the output area equal at every echo and the gradient in a slice axial direction is also the output area equal at every echo, the slice gradient is defined as the same output waveform and the output area of a spoiler satisfies the condition of S2=S3=S4=S5. Then, certain fixed time (t>=0) is set between the slice gradient and spoiler. When rephase is required with the selection of a slice surface, both rephases with the 0th and 1st slice gradient are adjusted by the S1 and the rephase after the 2nd slice gradient is adjusted this S1 and the impression timing of an inverted pulse. When the pulse sequence is set in such a manner in the case that it is not tilted or made oblique, Gs, Gf and Gp are distributed at a rate suitable for the case that the gradient in a slice axial direction and a lead axial direction is spread over the gradient more than two axes by the tilted and oblique pulse sequence. Then, the area of the lead gradient can be made equal for each echo.
