Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a package inserting/drawing detection circuit for improving safety in maintenance of an electronics device by detecting the inserting and drawing of a package by the package itself, and not by setting erronous information in the device even by means of the combination of inserting and drawing of the package. CONSTITUTION:A package inserting/drawing detection circuit is composed of a rush current protective circuit 10, a package insertion surveillance circuit 12 for detecting insertion of a package, and of a package inserting/drawing recording circuit 14 for memorizing the inserting and drawing of the package, and for outputting a detection signal. These circuits are provided on the package in which the information in the device is stored. A ground terminal 120 and a power source terminal 100 are long pins, while a package inserting surveillance terminal 110 is a short pin. When the package is to be inserted, by connecting the ground terminal 120 and the power source terminal 100 prior to the package inserting surveillance terminal 110, the insertion of the package is detected by the package insertion detection circuit 12.
