An apparatus for making an electrical tape cable by bonding insulating plastic tapes (3, 4) to either side of an array (1) of conductors aligned in parallel comprises a pair of primary bonding rollers (50, 60) which temporarily bonds the conductors (1) with the plastic tapes (3, 4) and a pair of secondary bonding rollers (48, 58) which permanently bonds them.
