Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a sole of sports shoe which generates less fatigue in walking, etc., by reinforcing sufficiently the foot arch part of the sole undersurface so that its deformation is prevented, wherein provision of the reinforcing member does not cause increase in the weight, and which also assures fine appearance, and also to establish a manufacturing method of such soles. CONSTITUTION:The sole of sports shoe is so structured that the foot arch part 11 of the sole undersurface is reinforced with a reinforcing member 30 which is made of resilient plastic and has a larger strength than the mid-sole body 20, wherein the reinforcing member 30 is joined with the whole undersurface of the foot arch part of the mid-sole body 20 fast in a whole-surface tight attached condition. This reinforcing member 30 is so shaped that it assumes an arch in the longitudinal direction of the sole, that the ends 31 and center 32 about the direction across the width are high, and that each middle part assumes a rib-like recess 33.
