Abstract:
PURPOSE:To output a purposed document in a simple form and to grasp relative relation with an original document by a simple operation by hierarchically managing the object sentence transformed and prepared based on an original sentence while reflecting the hierarchical management to the original sentence. CONSTITUTION:An operator hierarchically inputs the original document by operating a keyboard 16. According to this input, a document file 34 concerning that document is prepared by an editor 12 and registered on a storage part 24. The inputted original sentence is temporarily stored in a frame content record 40. When a translation execution key is operated, a character part is extracted from the original document in the record 40 by the editor 12 and transferred to a translation part (transformer) 10 for the unit of a text. The texts transmitted from the editor 12 are successively translated by the translation part 10 and returned to the editor 12 as the object sentence. This object sentence is temporarily stored in a temporary translated sentence storage part 26. Thus, the document is successively translated. The purposed document in the temporary translated sentence storage part 26 is stored in the defined area of the document file 34 by the editor 12.
