Abstract:
PURPOSE:To accelerate warming-up speed at engine starting and at warm-up running, and save the energy cost for warm-up. CONSTITUTION:In a water cooling device for a water cooled engine 1, a heat storage tank 12 is provided extending over a hot water passage 6 and a bypath 11. At load running of the water cooled engine 1, heat reserving water 14 in the heat storage tank 12 is heated by the high temperature cooling water 13 passing through the hot water passage 6. At starting and warm-up running the water cooled engine 1, a water jacket 3 is heated by the heat reserving water 14 through the cooling water 15 passing through the bypath 11.
