Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a device which can display new arrival information to the user of a computer without interrupting the execution of application software in an environment where the computer that can display plural windows is connected to a network having a transmission means which distributes information at all times. CONSTITUTION: The computer which can display the plural windows connected to the network 9 having the transmission means 10 distributing information at all times through a communication means 2 is provided with the communication means 2 transferring information on the network 9 to the computer, a new arrival information display control means 3 outputting information on the logic screen of new arrival information and a control signal on the priority of real screen display, a logic screen control part 3a which individually controls the logic screens of application software and a real screen control part 3b controlling a real screen display part and the display priority. Furthermore, a screen display control means 4 controlled from the new arrival information display control means 3 and a display means 5 outputting the screens are provided.
