Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide an organic electroluminescence element having a wave guide path structure and the end face luminescence with low voltage and high intensity and obtain efficient manufacture thereof. CONSTITUTION:A wave guide path structure is constituted of a clad layer A5, a core layer 6 and a clad layer B7, and the refraction factor ns of the clad layer A5 which is a positive pole injection layer or a luminescent layer and the refraction factor nc of the clad layer B7 which is an electron injection layer or a luminescent layer are made smaller than the refraction factor nf of the core layer 6 which is a luminescent layer in an organic electroluminescence element.
