Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the subject composition not generating a white opaque portion when colored, giving molded products having excellent impact resistance, appearance, etc., and suitable as an impact-resistant resin material by compounding a graft copolymer composition prepared by a specific method with the polymer of a vinylic monomer. CONSTITUTION:(B) An aromatic vinyl monomer and (C) a cyanized vinylic monomer are emulsion-copolymerized in the presence of (A) a conjugated diene polymer latex having a gel content of 50wt.% and a weight-average particle size of 0.2-0.3mum and not containing particles having diameters of <=50mum with a polymerization initiator to prepare a graft copolymer resin composition having a polymer A fraction rate (R) of 0.35-0.8 in which the polymer components soluble in acetone at the ordinary temperature have a weight-average mol.wt. of 40000-120000 and the remaining polymer components insoluble in the acetone at the ordinary temperature are satisfied with equations I and II ((x) is the weight of a specimen of the graft copolymer resin composition; (y) is the weight of the ordinary temperature acetone-insoluble components in the (x); Gr is a graft rate %). 10-100% of the composition is compounded with 90-0% of a polymer of the monomer selected from the monomers B, C, etc., to provide the objective composition.
