Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable an efficient performance evaluation to be made by measuring a change in an amount of leakage of anion for each regeneration treatment of an ion exchange resin and using a history where this change is shifted for each regeneration treatment as an information for judging deterioration of the ion exchange resin. CONSTITUTION:A mixed ion exchange resin 2 which is transported to a reclamation tower 7 is subjected to regeneration treatment and the resin 2 after the treatment is normally transported to a resin storage bath 8, where mixing operation and water- supply blow to the reclamation tower 7 are performed immediately after the regeneration treatment of the resin 2 and the mixed resin 2 is washed. The blown pure water is led to an ion chromatography analysis device 13 through a drain 23. The device 13 measures a small amount of concentration of SO4 ion which is included in a drained water at a lapse of time, judges a measurement data, and then sends it to a recording device 6. The above operation is repeated for each regeneration treatment of the resin 2. Then, a criterion where a stage of deterioration is divided into several portions is set to the device 16 and a degree of contamination of anion resin is determined according to the actual measurement data.
