Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize direct contact of smoke of moxa combustion, etc., to skin or diseased part by natural convection. SOLUTION: The moxibustion equipment main body 1 contains an open top end as a smoke exhaust 6 and a bottom end as a skin contact part F. An outer cylinder 2 at the outer circle of the main body 1 constitutes an air entrance chamber A with an inlet A' with its location of the bottom end higher than the bottom end of the main body 1 to form an open part 2', and with its top end connected to the main body 1 to form a closed part 2''. An inner cylinder 3 to which a smoke path D communicating with the smoke exhaust 6 is formed positioning its bottom end higher than the bottom end of the main body 1 to be an open end 3' and its closed top end to form a combustion chamber C communicating with the smoke exhaust D to be a closed end 3''. In the inner cylinder 3, a container cylinder 5 with many holes is located. The air entrance A and the combustion chamber C are connected by plural pipes for the sake of smooth air flow. By the natural convection of the smoke flow, direct contact of the smoke to a diseased part can be realized at the open part 3'.
