Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a printer capable of obtaining printed matters for a text consisting of a character and a character string equipped with a frame with balanced curvature of frame corner R and line width. CONSTITUTION:When global framing is set, the height of the text is calculated from set character size data, and a frame line with line width of three dots and radius of 18 dots is printed (S73, S74) so as to enclose the whole text when a result of calculation shows dots >= 100 (S72: YES). The frame line with line width of two dots and radius of 13 dots is printed (S76, S74) so as to enclose the whole text when the result shows dots between 26 and 100 (S72: NO, S75: YES). When the result shows dots < 26(S75: NO), the frame line of rectangular frame is printed(S77, S74) so as to enclose the whole text.
