Abstract:
PURPOSE:To contrive improvements in transparency and gas barrier properties, by a method wherein orientation blow molding of a prefoam obtained by laminating polyethylene terephthalate resin, polyethylene naphtholate resin and the polyethylene terephthalate resin in this order is performed. CONSTITUTION:Polyethylene terephthalate resin A, polyethylene naphtholate resin B and polyethylene terephthalate resin C are co-injected to a mold and a multilayer hot preform 7 laminated in this order is manufactured. Then the preform and a cooled mold are brought into contact with each other until shape retaining characteristics of the preform appear and then the mold is removed. When a resin A layer, resin B layer and resin C layer become respectively 100-130 deg.C, 130-150 deg.C and 100-130 deg.C, orientation blow molding having an orientation index of at least 130cm is performed and a multilayer bottle 1 is manufactured.
