Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain follow-up characteristic to the density change of a high speed gas densitometer such as a high speed response type hydrocarbon analyzing meter or the like. CONSTITUTION:A fixed flow of tracer gas with a fixed density is supplied to a closed container 20, the wall surface of which is partially formed by a diaphragm 21, and the diaphragm 21 of the container 20 is vibrated with an arbitrary frequency by a vibration exciter 28. Tracer gas which is discharged as a pulsating flow from the closed container 20 is mixed with a fixed flow of zero gas supplied, and the density change of the mixed gas is measured by a high speed gas densitometer to be tested. When the voltage waveform input to the vibration exciter 28 is compared with the detection waveform of the high speed gas densitometer 31, it can be found to what degree the density change can be detected by the high speed gas densitometer 31.
