Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain compactness and reduce a cost by converting refrigerant into high temperature pressure gas by the heat-exchange with exhaust gas so as to drive an expansion engine, as well as converting refrigerant gas exhausted from the expansion engine into liquid by the heat-exchange with liquid hydrogen. CONSTITUTION:A first heat exchanger 7 is installed at an exhaust system 5 connected to the cylinder 2 of a hydrogen-fueled engine 1, as well as a second heat exchanger 8 is installed at a liquid hydrogen supply system 6. In a refriger ant circulating circuit 12, refrigerant 14 in a refrigerating tank 13 is force-fed by a refrigerant pressurecirculating first heat exchanger 7 so as to be converted into high pressure-temperature gas and supplied into an expansion engine 16, thus obtaining output. Refrigerant gas exhausted from the expansion engine 16 is supplied to the second heat exchanger 8 to be heat-exchanged with liquid hydrogen 11 supplied by a liquid hydrogen pressure-feed pump 10 from a liquid hydrogen tank 11, thus being cooled and converted into liquid, then flowing back to the refrigerating tank 13.
