Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the number of cables for transmitting a signal from an operation side to a fore end side without lowering an S/N ratio by providing a means for multiplexing and transmitting a horizontal clock and a vertical clock, a means for transmitting a discrimination signal which discriminates vertical transmission time from horizontal transmission time, and a means for separating a multiplex signal while synchronizing with the discrimination signal. CONSTITUTION:A timing generation circuit 2 generates a timing signal for the vertical clock and the horizontal clock and also outputs an H/V signal for discriminating the case where a CCD1 is vertically transferring from the case where the CCD1 is horizontally transferring. A driver 7 superimposes one vertical clock and one horizontal clock and then sends them from the operation side to the CCD1 side. An analog switch 6 switches a contact point in synchronization with the H/V signal and separates the superimposed vertical clock from the superimposed horizontal clock, as well as, the vertical clock from an RS signal. Thus, the number of cables connecting the operation side and the CCD1 side can be reduced because the clock signals from said two sides are superimposed.
