Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily and accurately clean a liquid supply tank by a method wherein the tank is provided on the same side with a liquid intake opening and a cleaning opening larger in diameter than the liquid intake opening, the cleaning opening is provided with a lid detachably engageable therewith and a cleaning tool is given a wide range of the rockable movement when it is inserted into the tank from the cleaning opening. CONSTITUTION:A liquid intake tank 7 is provided with a cylindrical liquid intake opening 9 at one end of the bottom surface of a tank body 8. The liquid intake opening 9 is provided with an externally threaded part 9a on its outer peripheral surface and a lid 10 for the liquid intake opening is detachably engageable therewith. A cylindrical cleaning opening 11 larger in diameter than the liquid intake opening 9 is provided at the other end of the bottom surface of the tank body 8. The cleaning opening 11 is provided with an externally threaded part 11a on its outer peripheral surface and a lid 12 is detachably engageable therewith. To clean the inside of the tank body 8, the lid 12 is removed from the cleaning opening 11 and a cleaning tool such as brush is inserted into the tank from the cleaning opening. In this way the tank can be cleaned easily and accurately.
