Abstract:
PURPOSE:To stop a wiper or operate it intermittently automatically at a tollgate, etc., when the wiper is operated in a rainy time. CONSTITUTION:A wiper controller is provided with a wiper motor 14 for operating a wiper 12, a car speed sensor 16 for detecting a car speed, an opening sensor 19 for detecting the opening of a window glass 18c on a driver's seat side and a wiper controller 17 for controlling the wiper 12 based on signals from the car speed sensor 16 and the opening sensor 19. When the car speed sensor 16 detects a slow speed or vehicular stop and the opening sensor 19 detects the opening of the window glass 18c, over a prescribed value the wiper controller 17 controls the wiper motor 14 so that the wiper 12 may be stopped or operated intermittently.
