Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for an expanding memory and to simplify a processing circuit by executing mutual communication between different group equipments only by contraction processing and equal magnification. CONSTITUTION:A reading part of an equipment is constituted of a milli-system in the main scanning direction and an inch-system in the sub-scanning direction, and when a recording part is constituted by the milli-group in both the main scanning and sub-scanning, main scanning equal magnification output and subscanning compressing processing output are executed. When the recording part is constituted of the inch group in both the main scanning and sub-scanning, main scanning contraction processing and subscanning equal magnification output are executed. In the case of constituting the reading part of the equipment 1 of the group 4 by the above method and transmitting data to the equipment 2 of the group 3 by the procedure of the group 3, equal magnification is applied to the main scanning direction, but the contracting processing of 97.79% should be applied to the subscanning direction to obtain the image of the same size. Thereby, communication between different groups can be attained without executing expansion processing. Consequently, the need for the expanding memory can be eliminated an interpolation processing circuit can be made unnecessary.
