Abstract:
PURPOSE:To decrease the time required for deciding an optimum transmission speed by allowing a receiver side to inform the designation of falling back the transmission speed in plural optional stages when a sender side is failed in the reception of a signal at a stated transmission speed. CONSTITUTION:The maximum time when consecutive data '1' are received is discriminated and when the maximum time is 0.7sec or over, a picture signal is received at the present transmission speed according to the result of discrimination. When the maximum time is 0.6sec or over and less than 0.7sec, the reception of a unique signal subject to one stage fall-back is implemented. When the maximum time is 0.6sec or over and less than 0.6sec, the reception of a unique signal subject to two-stage fall-back is implemented. When the maximum time is less than 0.5sec, the reception of a unique signal subject to three-stage fall-back is implemented. That is, the receiver side commands the transmission of a back word signal and a training/unique signal subject to 1-stage fall back to a sender side.
