Abstract:
In a hammer with a pneumatic impact mechanism (15), the wobble mechanism (19) is to be mounted in the housing (31) in such a manner as to be free from play, space-saving, easy to assemble and insensitive to tolerance. For this purpose, a rolling bearing 28, seated on the wobble hub 21, is inserted with its outer ring 29 into a turned-down portion 32 of a retaining housing 31. Subsequently, the bearing is pressed against the turned-down portion 32 by means of a resilient retaining plate 40. The retaining plate is tensioned via cams 51 and 47 which are cast integral with the retaining housing 31.
