Abstract:
PURPOSE:To quickly and accurately correct a drawing of facility by extracting automatically an unmatched symbol which cannot be connected to a changed graphic in case the data hierarchical change is applied to a graphic where the graphic and symbol of the drawing of facility are connected to each other. CONSTITUTION:A target facility drawing is retrieved out of a file device 203 and the drawing data is edited and displayed on a CRT 205. In case a partial graphic of the displayed drawing is changed into another graphic, i.e., the data hierarchy is changed, the data hierarchy to which the facility symbols belong is collated with the data hierarchy of the corresponding facility flow sheet to check the connecting definition to the corresponding symbol and the unmatched symbols are automatically extracted. Therefore an unmatched state can be decided between the symbol of the facility drawing and its corresponding facility system in case the data hierarchy of the facility flow sheet is changed. In such a way, the drawing can be quickly and accurately corrected.
