Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make a ready, reasonable and appropriate selection of the colors of exterior coating by preparing examples of the colors of exterior coating of the existing buildings in accordance with each of the type, image and conditions of location, and preselecting the colors of exterior coating of buildings to provide the color combinations as a selection guide. CONSTITUTION:In selecting the colors of exterior coating to be applied to the outside walls, roofs, etc., of buildings such as apartment house and hotel, a separate list of the colors of exterior paint of the existing buildings is pre pared, as a first step, in accordance with each of the type, image and conditions of location, by an investigation thereinto. As a second step, the current colors of exterior coating are preselected from each list to provide a color combination for setting an anticipated exterior color. As a third step, the colors of coating suitable for actual application to buildings are selected from each list with the aid of the aforesaid selection guide to provide the color combinations. Thus, a choice of the colors of exterior coating for buildings is available readily, reasonably and appropriately.
