Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a false-twist conjugated yarn having a sheath core structure composed of plural synthetic resin multi-filament yarns entangled with each other, exhibiting a high dry heat shrinkage and a high bulkiness and suitable for a high density fiber. CONSTITUTION:A stretched synthetic multi-filament yarn 7 containing a copolymer exhibiting >=15% dry heat shrinkage under a condition of 180 deg.C and 3min and a half-stretched synthetic multi-filament yarn 9 are respectively unwound from packages 6 and 8, arranged and supplied to a feed roller 10. Several% overfeed ratio is given between the packages and the second feed roller 11 and an entangling treatment is applied through an entangling nozzle 12. A false twist treatment is applied using a false twist heater 13 and a false twist device 14 in a false twist treatment area (A) at 100 to 160 deg.C so as to give a false twist number within a range represented by the formula [T is false twist number (T/m); (a) is twist coefficient (17000=20% dry heat shrinkage under condition of 180 deg.C and 3min.
