Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize the quick accesses to the data files which are produced at unequal intervals by calculating roughly a record number based on the mean managing time. CONSTITUTION:The step size changes periodically along a satellite track and therefore a mean managing time calculation means 1 obtains the mean managing time per record by dividing the data production time by the number of data records (the number of records per round to be obtained by dividing the track cycle by the mean managing time). Then a prospective record number is calculated by a prospective record number calculation means 2. A record checking means 3 reads the record of said estimated number and checks whether the designated time point is kept or not within the time of the read record. If not, the means 3 reads out and checks an adjacent record.
