Abstract:
PURPOSE: To efficiently perform veering of a ship or turning-round on its spot in response to all ship speeds up to a comparatively high speed area from low speed by automatically distributing the driving control ratios of a turning-round directional thrust generating device and a rudder device to the prescribed ratio in response to ship speed when the ship is veered or turned round on its spot. CONSTITUTION: When a ship is veered or turned round on its spot, the driving control ratio of a thruster device to a rudder device automatically becomes the prescribed ratio in response to ship speed. That is, at low speed time of about 0 to 3 knot, since the output ratio of the thruster device is 1.0 and the output ratio of the rudder device is 0, veering is performed only by turning-round directional thrust generated by a bow thruster device 4 and a stern thruster device 5, and at medium speed time of 3 to 5 knot, since the output ratios of the thruster and rudder devices are respectively 1.0 to 0 and 0 to 0.1, the veering is performed by turning-round directional thrust generated by the bow thruster device 4 and the stern thruster device 5 and a rudder device 3, and at comparatively high speed not less than 5 knot, since the output ratios of the thruster and rudder devices are respectively 0 and 1.0, only a rudder is controlled in driving, and the veering is performed.
