Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the dissolution of the sewage in an aeration tank by aerating the sewage with the air sucked or forcibly fed to an air diffusing pipe provided in the aeration tank and ionized by applying static electricity. SOLUTION: The air diffusing pipe 3 is provided at the bottom part of the aeration tank 1 to which the sewage 2 is introduced and connected to the blower 4 sucking the air and forcibly feeding to the air diffusing pipe 3. An electrostatic induction electrode 7 is provided in an intake pipe 5 in which the air is sucked by the blower 4, and an electron generator 8 is connected to the electrostatic induction electrode 7. Then the static electricity is applied by the electrostatic induction electrode 7 to the air sucked or forcibly fed by the blower 4, and the sewage is aerated by the ionized air from the air diffusing pipe 3. In this way, the sewage treatment can be improved since the cohesive force of microorganisms can be maintained and the org. matter can be excellently decomposed.
