Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wake detector to be mounted on an underwater cruiser and detect each posture in which the underwater cruiser approaches, enters and passes wakes. SOLUTION: This wake detector mounted on an underwater cruiser, which has a frontward wake detection part 6 for detecting frontward wakes of the underwater cruiser; and a sideward wake detection part 7 for detecting reverberation reaching the underwater cruiser. When the frontward wake detection part 6 detects that the underwater cruiser approaches within a specific distance for wakes, the sideward wake detection part 7 acquires a level difference between a present reverberation detection waveform and a previously stored reference reverberation detection waveform, and judges that, if the level difference is over a specific value, it enters the wake, and thereafler judges that, if the level difference is returned to less than a specific value, it passes the wake.
