Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a client's connection system in a virtual LAN in which there is in no danger of not acquiring information of an ELAN (virtual network) that is desired to be connected and acquiring information of a different ELAN and copes with illegal access that is performed by someone who pretends to be a legal person. SOLUTION: A client (LEC 27) is first connected to a management and control ELAN 11, and next he sends an ELAN connection request. A network managing part 23 receives the request and sends an authentication processing request 32. An authentication processing part 24 receives the request 32, authenticates it by retrieving a client name and a password which are set to the request from an authentication management table 39 and sends an ELAN name for LEC which should be connected to by the LEC 27. The part 23 retrieves a network management table 38 based on a group name and the ELAN name for LEC, obtains the operation information of the ELAN for LEC to which the LEC 27 should be connected and sends it to the LEC 27. The LEC 27 separates from the LAN 11 and is connected to the ELAN for LEC.
