Abstract:

PURPOSE:To enhance the degree of freedom of design with a simple signal and without utilizing magnetism, and also to stably monitor the transport of paper sheets. CONSTITUTION:A rotating body 17 that has been interlockedly connected with a feed roller 7 is provided, and on the outer circumferential surface of the rotating body 17, a plurality of light-reflecting surface regions 27 and light- nonreflecting surface regions 28 are alternately formed, and also in the position opposite to the outer circumference of the rotating body 17, a reflecting-type photosensor 29 is arranged for monitoring normal transport of paper sheets 5.
