Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of the entire device. CONSTITUTION:An adaptor 2 added to the entire main body 1 converts only a voltage of a serial data. The device main body 1 is provided with both functions of the centronics interface and the serial interface. The device main body 1 discriminates (14) whether or not the adaptor 2 is connected and the serial data is fetched from the adaptor 2 at the connection based on the result of discrimination and the parallel data is fetched through a bus line at non- connection.
