Abstract:
PURPOSE:To efficiently and uniformly treat the surface of a terminal of complicated surface structure with a rust preventive of low viscosity by enclosing the terminal in the predetermined space of a hollow container, and atomizing the rust preventive into the predetermined space to form turbulence. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical space 2 open at its lower side is provided within a hollow container 1. A fixed amount supply device 4 is provided for measuring and supplying a fixed amount of oil serving as a rust preventive from a tank 5. A battery terminal 3 is enclosed in the space 2 in the hollow container 1 by the vertical movement of the hollow container 1. High-speed air from an air pipe 10 atomizes the oil by Venturi effect and injects the oil into the space 2 from the end opening portion 9 of an air introduction hole which serves as a nozzle. Then the exposed part of the surface of the battery terminal 3 is uniformly oiled by turbulence generated in the space 2.
