Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a pointing confirmation system for reducing the shift of a pointer as much as possible so as to make an operation efficient at the time of selecting/inputting some keys with window display and an operation by a pointing device. CONSTITUTION: The key which is considered to be most frequently selected is set in window display information as an initial value (step 12) by using recognition window display information for controlling to which position a recognition window is to be displayed at the time of executing a processing for displaying the recognition window for selecting the key. The recognition window is displayed (step 14) so that the key is displayed in a present pointer position. Thus, key selection work can be executed only by clicking without shifting the pointer when the initial value is appropriate.
