Abstract:
PURPOSE:To use a newly defined control point to control a form by interpolat ing curve meshes consisting of cubic Bezier curves with a biquadratic Gregory patch. CONSTITUTION:With respect to an area surrounded by polynomial curves, the continuity on boundaries is judged by curves connected to boundary curves. Connection conditions on boundaries are obtained from this continuity. Internal definition points P0 to P19 of a surface are generated in accordance with obtained connection conditions. Control points Q1 to Q8 to change the curved surface form are newly generated from these internal definition points, and the generated control point Q2 is moved to control the form of the free-form surface.
