Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient sterilizing effect with the securing of sufficient heating time even when sheet papers are conveyed at a high speed by arranging a first conveying means containing a heating/sterilizing means and a second conveying means as opposed thereto grasping the sheet papers while at least the second conveying means is made up of an endless belt CONSTITUTION:A device 1 is made up of a heating roller 3 composed of a metal roller containing a halogen lump 2 as heating means, a rubber belt 4 supported with two pulleys 9. The rubber belt 4 is given a moderate tension to be pressed and contacts the heating roller 3 winding to make a paper money heating section 5. The paper money 7 introduced to a sterilizer 1 by a conveying means 6 on the inlet side is sent into a contact part between the heating roller 3 and the rubber belt 4, namely, into the heating section 5. Here, the paper money 7 is grasped between a hot heating roller 3 and the rubber belt 4, moved within the heating section 5 being heated with the rotation of the heating roller 3 and the rubber belt 4 and then, discharged to a conveying means 8 on the outlet side from the heating section 5.
