Abstract:
PURPOSE:To carry out facilitated and effective rejecting operation without setting a reject level through the hand of a user by automatically setting an optimal reject threshold according to the running condition of an automobile. CONSTITUTION:A state of low noise is judged based on the output of sensor parts 8, 9, 10, and the registration of dictionary is permitted at the time of registering a dictionary 5. While a dictionary registration judgement means for inhibiting the registration of dictionary under a state of high noise level, is provided. A reject threshold setting means 11 is provided, by which the level of noise is estimated based on the output of the sensor parts 8, 9, 10 at the time of recognition, and which sets the reject threshold in such a way that it is suitable to the estimated condition of the automobile. An optimal reject threshold is thus automatically set according to the running condition of the automobile. A facilitated and effective rejecting operation can thus be carried out without setting a reject level through the hand of a user.
