Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for solid high polymer electrolyte fuel cell which has excellent airtightness so that no leakage of reaction gas is produced, and its manufacturing method for easy mass production. SOLUTION: First, a separator base material 21 is prepared by laminating plural black lead sheet 16. Then, the separator base material 21 is pressed and molded by using dies 17, 18. Thereby, a separator 20, which has oxidizer passage 1, a cooling water passage, a fuel gas passage 2, connection passages 3, 4, an oxidizer supply hole 5, a cooling water supply hole, a fuel gas supply hole, an oxidizer exhausting hole 8, a cooling water draining hole, a fuel gas exhausting hole, and a lip 11, is obtained. Leakage of reaction gas is suppressed by this constitution.
