Abstract:
Known communication devices having a control device and a delay device transmit an acknowledgement message which is offset in time with respect to a received message. In particular applications, the time difference between the reception of the message and the sending- out of the acknowledgement message must be maintained very accurately.
For this purpose, the control device is connected to a temperature sensor and a correction-value store. The control device uses the temperature sensor to remove a correction value from the correction- value store and specifies this correction value to the delay device for determining the delay time.
Fields of application are, for example, mobile radio receivers for car telephone systems.
