Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for inputting a melody in a communication terminal is provided to enable a user to input a melody matched to an own personality by simply inputting a key in order to allow a tone and musical note data to be inputted. CONSTITUTION: If a melody mode key is inputted(201), a communication terminal is set up to a melody input mode(203). Data for indicating a musical scale is displayed on a displayer over two frames(205). If key data are inputted(207), the data for indicating a musical scale displayed on the displayer are deleted, and the inputted tone key data and musical note key data are displayed on the displayer(209). Afterward, a melody code is created(211). Then, it is searched that a storing key is inputted from a key inputting part(213). If the storing key is inputted, the melody code is stored in the second memory(227).
