Abstract:
PURPOSE:To execute the communication processing with high reliability by discriminating whether a fault part at the time of abnormality of transmission is in a processor side of a transmitting destination or in a ring communication channel, and executing an optimal fault processing corresponding to the fault part. CONSTITUTION:The system is provided with an answer monitoring means 1, a retransmitting means 3, a transmission abnormality informing means 5, a retransmission testing means 7, a fault discriminating means 9, and a fault release means 11. In such a state, in the case an answer does not return within a prescribed time after the time of data transmission, whether it is caused by the other system fault or a ring communication channel fault (the own system fault) in which the own system PCI is detached from a ring is discriminated by changing a transmitting destination to a communication adaptor (PCI) of a transmitting origin, and executing a ring turn-back retransmission, and in the case of the own system fault, it is switched to a spare PCI provided separately. In the case of the other system fault, a processing corresponding to the fault part is executed by monitoring automatically the recovery of the other system. In such a way, the communication processing is executed with high reliability.
