Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate over-complexity, to realize high-speed output of a character small in size, and to suppress dispersion by changing an outline developing means for parameterized partial shape corresponding to output character size when outline font data including the parameterized partial shape is outputted. CONSTITUTION:After an output character code and the output character size are designated. character shape data is retrieved based on the character code(S 2). Thence. partial shape data parameterized from the character shape date(S3) is developed(S5-S7) to outline data by a developing method selected supplied character size(S4), and it is synthesized with the outline data of a nonparameterized character(S9), then, an outline data string for the whole character can be obtained.
