Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely decide a specified cable regardless of deterioration of signal current level by comparing the signal current level detected by a detection means and reference level for identifying/deciding whether a target cable or no. SOLUTION: A transmitter which constant-current-supplies the signal of specified frequency to a target cable, acting as detection object in multiple cable, is provided with an overload deciding means which monitors voltage generated in the target cable in a signal supply end from the transmitter and decides loaded condition of the target cable, meanwhile, a signal detection means which, with a clamper which selectively clamps one of multiple cables, detects the signal current flowing in the cable, and extracts the signal component of specified frequency from the detection signal, for detecting the signal current level, and, in an identification means, the signal current level detected by the signal detection means and reference level are compared, for deciding whether the cable obtaining signal is the target cable or no.
